To say that Jennifer’s beginning at TEF was a trial by fire would be an understatement. Shortly after joining us, the World Health Organization declared the novel Coronavirus a pandemic and we were all at home sheltering in place. She has since distinguished herself as an accomplished leader, leveraging her entrepreneurial mindset and innate strengths as a mentor and connector to play a critical role in the resilience of the practice.
Jennifer’s 25 plus years of professional experience encompasses diverse project typologies on both coasts, having practiced in New York before establishing her own firm and subsequently moving to San Francisco. Her innate thoughtfulness, aptitude for business, and resourceful creativity has led to noteworthy design solutions for projects ranging from the Swarthmore College Science Center in Pennsylvania to diverse commercial retail, office, and multifamily housing developments in Northern California. Her passion lies in guiding clients through a rich and collaborative discovery process that results in places authentically aligned with organizational values and goals. This ethos is reflected in her work on the Town School for Boys Engineering Lab, the Cow Hollow Preschool, and Private Investment Group Headquarters at the Letterman Digital Arts Complex. She has also led the exploration of post-pandemic cultural shifts in workplace and education, guiding clients, like the Bay Area Headquarters Authority and the Presidio Trust, in the reimagination of their workplace.
Jennifer currently serves on the Board of Directors of Convent & Stuart Hall, an independent K-12 school in San Francisco, and is a member of the AIASF Housing Committee. She earned her Master of Architecture from the University of Virginia and her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
