An architect with over a decade of experience, O.J. brings a deep commitment to community engagement and equitable design. His firsthand experience in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina shaped his perspective on the relationship between architecture and community resilience. At TEF, he has led a range of complex community improvement projects, including recent work for the Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts (MCCLA), where he partnered closely with nonprofit staff and the executive director to conduct site tours and assessments and align the design with current needs and future program goals. O.J. has also contributed significantly to TEF’s work at San Francisco International Airport, collaborating with the design-build team and co-locating part-time to support progressive design-build delivery. He serves as the Historian for the National Organization of Minority Architects’ SF Chapter (SFNOMA).
