Sohyun’s interest in design began early, shaped by frequent moves during childhood and deepened through her involvement in redesigning her family home following the 2018 wildfires. With a background in interior design, she brings a thoughtful understanding of space planning, material coordination, and detailing to her work. Her precision and proficiency in digital modeling and construction documentation allow her to contribute effectively in fast-paced environments with demanding technical requirements. At TEF, Sohyun has supported complex projects, including the SFO Courtyard 4 Connector, where she collaborated closely with the design-build team to respond to stringent city and airport standards. Outside of TEF, Sohyun also supports high-end residential renovation work as a sole drafter, gaining hands-on experience coordinating with millwork fabricators and consultants. Sohyun is especially interested in growing her experience on community-focused projects where sustainability plays a meaningful role in the design.
